Retail Trust Week is an annual fundraising event that raises money for people working in, and retired from, the retail industry.

What is it?

The help Retail Trust offers people working in retail is often for everyday things such as a mortgage payment, a break from caring for a sick relative or repairs to their homes and the theme for Retail Trust Week Everyday HERO reflects this.  The idea is that by doing something small people can make a big difference to other people just like themselves.  So someone might choose to walk to work and donate their bus fare or they may make the tea for a week and charge their colleagues for the service or even swap jobs with the boss!  We will give you a few ideas and then its over to you to use your imagination!

The team in Leicestershire were busy holding a bake a cake competition for each store and had the difficult decision of picking a winner at end. 

Clare & Pauline also ran a shop from 12pm-2pm on Fri 23rd where they held an auction for goods they have secured from local retailers such as M&S, bookshops and much much more. Well done everybody!   

Preston's next top models were giving their best pouts during Principles' live window display which they held to raise much needed funds for Retail Trust. Check out the photos to see Preston's finest turn heads!

Kerry Folwer took to the skies with a skydive in Honiton - Dunkeswell airfield where she took part in a death defying parachute jump for Retail Trust Week on 25th May. Check out Kerry's photos below. Well done Kerry - you legend!

Shoppers did a double take as they walked by House of Fraser in Wolverhampton during Retail Trust Week. House of Fraser's Operations Manager Nick Pigott was in bed in the shop window of Beatties with Julia Roberts and Kylie Minogue! This was all in the name of raising money for Retail Trust. Julia Roberts is in fact Nick's assistant in-store and Kylie was the cut of the real thing - literally! Check out the video here
